Originally from Manchester, Vidhu trained at Leeds University gaining a Bachelor of Dental surgery in 2001. She has always combined further academic training along with her clinical work, believing in the importance of keeping up to date with the rapidly changing face of dentistry.
She completed a three-year diploma in restorative dental practice at the highly acclaimed Eastman Dental Hospital in 2009. She has also completed numerous postgraduate training courses, including occlusion, tooth wear and a one-year postgraduate certification in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry.
She has practiced General Dentistry since 2001 and locally in southwest London for the past ten years. She likes to create a warm, friendly and inviting environment for her patients that reflects both her approach to dentistry and her relationship with her patients.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a particular passion for conservative aesthetic dental treatments. She has a particular interest in composite veneers and tooth wear rehabilitation.
She lives in Balham with her husband and two young boys. Vidhu enjoys nothing more than spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
Along with treating her existing patient base her focus is ensuring that all patients at The Dentist receive the highest levels of customer service and quality of care. She ensures that the practice is following gold standard protocols for CQC, health and safety and clinical governance. Vidhu has a strong emphasis on creating a warm and friendly environment for both the staff to work in and her patients to be treated in.

Originally from Bristol, Tom knew he wanted to be a dentist after completing his Doctor in Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Liverpool Dental School in 2010, where he conducted research into tooth enamel defects and published journal articles on tooth whitening and 3D imaging. Tom worked at Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield UK dental schools during this project. He gained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Peninsula Dental School (at Exeter and Plymouth Universities) in 2014
Tom enjoys all aspects of dentistry and treats everyone as he would like to be treated himself. He aims to provide clear treatment options and a customised plan to meet the best interests of each individual. He practices minimally invasive, conservative and aesthetic dentistry.
Tom enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry but has a keen interest In Endodontics. He is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontic Practice at the highly acclaimed Eastman Dental Institute.
Tom is a member of Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Endodontic Society. He is friendly, approachable and loves to meet new people. He enjoys caring for all generations, from grandchildren to great grandparents. He lives in South West London, loves music and the arts. Tom is a keen triathlete, surfer and likes winter sports and the great outdoors.’

Sophie is a friendly and approachable general dentist who graduated from Newcastle University in 2017 with degrees in Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences.
She has been at The Dentist since February 2022 and provides Invisalign treatment at our Putney practice.
Sophie has a keen interest in providing minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry for her patients, such as Invisalign and Composite Bonding.
She is currently a delegate with Aspire Dental Academy, working towards a Diploma in Aligner Orthodontics and a separate diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics.
If Sophie wasn’t a dentist, she would be baking, skiing or fell walking in the Lake District.

We have a truly wonderful team of Dental assistants. They are always present during your treatment to help yourself and the Dentist throughout your visit. They are all trained in the NEBDN/ Cache approved accreditation nursing colleges in London and continue to develop their skills with continued learning throughout their careers.
The Dental assistants work extremely hard in surgery and behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of your appointments and are truly an integral part of our team. Our team of assistants all share the same qualities of being kind, caring and gentle.

We have a truly wonderful front of house team. They all understand the importance of being the first point of contact for our patients. They take great pride in the customer service provided to our patients and aim to answer all your questions as quickly and efficiently as possible.
It goes without saying they aim to make you feel as comfortable as possible when you arrive, please ask them any questions and they will be more than happy to help.
They also understand that patient treatment is personal and can sometimes be sensitive in nature. They are fully trained in Data protection, GDPR and privacy policies.
